Does the bridge have to come after the second chorus?
A familiar pop structure is verse1 → chorus → verse2 → chorus → bridge → final chorus. Placing the bridge there gives listeners a change after hearing the chorus twice, then brings them back to the hook for the ending.
Unfortunately I did not follow this convention (this was before I did any songwriting course) but the AI did a good job and made the melody work. In fact I really like this melody – it fits the song. If I have to reproduce it I really have to somehow “unhear” this melody.
Most hit songs see their title end the chorus – perhaps something I should think about next time.
